So Kenneth and I were talking to his mom today.

Apparently she plans on flying in for the birth of our baby.

I don't know how I feel about this. I've seen her with her other grandkids and she doesn't respect their parents or their decisions. I'm worried that if I didn't want her to come over for the first few days that she would take it personally. And that if I did let her over but wanted her to wash her hands she would look at me like I'm being overbearing. I just want things to go MY way with MY kid and not feel judged or like I have to explain myself.

Kenneth is really happy that she wants to come down. She hasn't seemed excited for this baby at all since she found out, and that was upsetting him.

I still have plenty of time to set up boundaries at least.

I know. It's just, we're already the least favorites. We're already "high maintainance" because we actually have boundaries. When his brother and sister-in-law tried to set some, it was a big ordeal. I don't want to be the reason that his mom stops talking to him or something. It's just stupid, but I know he would back me up no matter what.

If she doesnt want to follow by your rules for your baby she can leave. It is your child so no matter how she feels about it everything is your decision.

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
