Question, how much did everybody buy for their little ones first birthday? After seeing how…

For xmas this year we got a tv/dvd for my 4 year old and got books and drawing stuff for her as they get older it looks less for more money but she loves the tv and ive thrown out the pens already as they where all over the wall. Xx @jo.wilcox

We have a limit of £100 for birthdays/Christmas etc out of that money she gets one big gift of around £40/£50 and then couple smaller ones, but it's up to each family xx

A book that cost £1 :) thats literally it :) she got a car and clothes from other family members...since her birthday is like a month after Christmas.....she basically got everything for Christmas xx

I mean I think he has enough, it's just more the 'appearance' of them all looking like it's not much.. he's got a 'bigger' present- one of those activity wooden cubes you know with the beads and the cogs etc on t? Then some megablocks and wooden jigsaws etc.. bought some converse and other clothes today so I think he should be fine? X

Sounds fine to me I always buy caitlin a birthday outfit too, already ordered her cake and cupcakes but that does not go in the price for her birthday gifts xx

@west94, bloody best be more enthusiastic than he was at Christmas 😂 @gabilicious, yeah I've just got to get his cake and food sorted now I'll maybe buy a few more clothes nothing major and be done with it. Ps what size shoes is your little ones in? Charlie's feet are so fat I've had to eat him size 5 converse! X

Caitlin just grown into size 5 but she's always been smaller only couple of months ago started wearing 12-18 months clothes xx

@gabilicious, aww bless. Sounds like he's about right then. He must've had a growth spurt because he was only a size 3 a little over a mo th ago! X

Bless him I guess boys do tend to be bigger than girls he might grow quickly now and then slow down in his teens xx
