Is nipple stimulation for starting labor supposed to work because you're supposed to like it and release those kinda hormones? (Oxytocin, the looooove and feel good hormone) or is it that the hormone is released because of the like connection between boob and brain but not in a love way just like a physical way???
I've done a lot of research that says nipple stimulation is the #1 best way to kick start labor but honestly when my nipple stimulation are touched it makes me cringe and feel like punching someone.. so would it still work? Or would like, a candle lit back rub that gets me all in the mood be more likely to put me into labor? Lol

I don't get in the mood from nipple stimulation and I tried it and it didn't do anything.

I think it stimulates contractions which may induce labor

@megsandbabes it can induce labor because it stimulates your breast to trick your brain into thinking that baby is already here... breastfeeding also stimulates uterine contractions (sometimes it hurts more than labor contractions)

The thing about nipple stimulation is you literally have to do it every 5 or so minutes until you go into labor, if you stop before you ar3 ACTUALLY in labor it doesnt do anything and the contractions will stop
