So I'm at home by myself having recently lost my job....because of payments being hard I don't currently have a phone that can make calls so I rely on the interent for contact with people.
I planned with my mum for her and dad to come over today for dinner. I have cooked and am now waiting for them to arrive. It's supposed to be at 4 so I've got about 20 mins. The thing is neither of them have contacted me all day. They both had today off work due to the bank holiday in England.
I just feel a bit uneasy as I have no idea if they are still coming today or not. I've sent them both messages but neither have answered me all day. So now I'm just sitting limbo.
Not to mention that my that my partner who is working in a different city at the moment and so not at home until tomorrow hasn't replied to message today.
I feel really lonely today and kinda tearful about it

His yes they turned up got here at 4.10pm. They had been out all day so had not been anywhere to use Internet as neither of them use mobile data.
No they don't have wattsapp

Aw have they got whatsapp your mum and dad have you tried call them on it? Strange that your partner hasnt contacted you perhaps he is busy working. Theres nice people here to talk with. If no one turns up maybe you can freeze the dinner for you to have when your partner is home hope they turn up xx
