@dee_02dee he was great when he was sober, but he did a lot of stupid stuff while drunk, or trying to get drunk. Including taking my last penny to buy alcohol instead of preparing for my son. He cheated while i was literally a room away babysitting to make money because he spent my rent money on beer and other shit. It got bad. That was the last straw. I actually almost had my son 3 months early because of that situation.

I do... he will get drunk and say or do hurtful things. I wish I had some advice on this for you. But I am still trying to get away from my situation. I have tried and tried, he has to want to stop and do it on his own... #feelingstuckandalone
I feel the same sometimes i worry about his health but your friend is right only he can help himself. I just support him when he doesn't drink and i try not to enable him though

Yes I wish but it gets uglier. There is no possible way for me to help him. If you have family or friends I would get out why you can. I have no family or anyone. It is hard. My dad is also a alcoholic.

@embracemthrhd2 my father was when he and my mom were together. It's actually worse now that I am with someone than seeing my father....it's weird.
