I need help! I'm 2 weeks pp, needless to say that I haven't got 8 hours of sleep in over 2 weeks with my newborn. I take 2 hour naps, every day & night- 3 straight hours if I'm lucky. I don't have time to cook, I'm always exhausted, hardly have time to even shower & I often forget to eat. Does anybody have any quick recipes to share other than a sandwich? I'm pretty tired of sandwiches.
@sabrina10, he doesn't really cry much though. He eats, I change him & he goes right back to sleep! (Except at nights) if im not feeding or changing him, I'm doing a quick chore or pumping. I'm really just the one who's always tired cause I'm not used to this yet & my naps are super important to me, so I try to eat something fast. I always just end up eating a plain old sandwich though, I need some variety!
You need to get a wrap and baby wear the baby. You'll be able to do so much !
@brownsugarluv, I don't actually, I have a bassinet that I just roll around everywhere. I never even thought of crockpot recipes, thank you!
1 word, crockpot!
Do you baby wear? It helped me so very much with a newborn.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Here's some crockpot ideas. Chicken breasts+chicken broth, stock, or water+chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper, cook it overnight on low, shred it up with forks, then just grab a tortilla sprinkle some onions cilantro and hot sauce on top and boom- yummy 2 minute chicken tacos for a week!
Pork+stock/broth/water+barbecue sauce, cook overnight, shred, add more bbq, and you have pulled pork sliders! You can chop up some cabbage carrots and apples and make a yummy slaw, or just pick up a coleslaw kit at the market to top them :3
Beef cubes+beef stock/broth+diced carrots celery onions and potatoes+ bay leaf, 1 sprigs thyme, a few cloves of garlic (appx 1 tbsp chopped), salt and pepper. Cook on high for like, 6 hours and yummy beef stew! Just don't forget to take the thyme stem and bay leaf out before eating!
These are just a few of my go-to's, not complicated, but super tasty! Now that my kids are older I do more advanced stuff but crock pot meals are always in the mix! Let me know if you'd like any more recipes :) I have thousands
