Just curious...How would you pronounce the name Xavier? I like the name but have heard some people pronounce it completely different from how I do. #babynames

I have seen a few people on other message boards/moms groups say Zav-e-er but I've always said it ex-zay-vee-er
I read zav-e-er when I see this name. Is that not right?! lol I have a friend with a son named Xavier now I'm second guessing how to say it

ex-say-vee-air.. lol that was hard. but we are using Xavier as our son's middle name

I took my daughter to her dentist appointment. Her name is Aviana. The lady pronounces her name Amina. How ma’am? How did you get Amina from aviana? Funny part is we were going to name her Amina but I liked Aviana more and changed it.
