Alex has got lactose to take as he's seriously struggling to do a poo, but he always spits it right out even with putting a bottle in his mouth right after. Is there any other ways I can give it to him? Or does anyone have any tips/advice?

@have you tried giving him just fresh orange juice? Its so horrible when they are constipated! My son is 5 and still struggles. X
@kayteamay that's what I'm doing just now but still not working...will try and out it in his milk later on and see how it goes xx
Use a syringe that you get with calpol. I know it sounds cruel but just shoot it down his throat. This was advised by my hv when i first son wouldnt take it. It sounds awful but its for his own good x

Have you got a medicine dummy? They're always pretty handy, a couple of sucks and by the time they realise there's something coming out of it they've already swallowed it
