Ladies am I the only one that thinks that funerals are not for babies/children??..unless it's a family member. Recently I went to my friends funeral and everyone kept asking where my baby was and why I didn't bring her..my answer was i didn't want to bring her it's just not right environment for her. So much sadness going on, and I know babies are sensitive to that and I was a complete mess.. it was best to get back to her once I got myself together. What do you mama's think? I'm not judging anyone who thinks otherwise, just asking for opinions..hense most people who asked aren't parents.. and some are and brought their children with them.

Totally agree, babies to are a handful, and a funeral is a place for mourning, so I think that's also respectful to leave her home.

I agree. My family has a funeral coming up for my grandma and i definitely would not bring my son if she wasn't family. Not for kids at all, in my opinion they can get intense and overwhelming. Shouldn't put a small child thats just going to get anxious and upset in the middle of all that.

I agree but my husband felt otherwise & took him so his family could meet him
