I am at loss here... My iron is so low to the point my doctor told me I have to get it up or there will be a high possibility of having to get a blood transfusion after birth. They gave me a huge list of foods high in iron and a lot of it I'm either allergic to or can't stomach at all. I wasn't able to take my prescribed prenatals as I am allergic to sulfates but I was able to find an over the counter all natural sulfate free prenatal with Iron but I'm not sure if taking those will do the job getting my iron up. This honestly just stresses me out so much 😔

I take the slow FE brand of iron because I get really nauseous from taking iron but my iron is also pretty low. You're not alone! From what I'm told it's common in pregnancy. Try not to stress too much about it, just take some breaths and do some research ask your dr exactly how much you need and work it out 🤗 best of luck

Ohhh wowww, I have a low iron issuse too. Tomorrow I have appointment, I hope they don't tell me that. Try taking the pills with iron and then add the food you can eat that has a little iron in it with every meal. That should help and don't eat ice. Especially if you craving it stay away from ice that can make it worse.so of you craving ice, try ur best not to give in. @hhmariah for some reason us females, A lot of us have iron issues, my little girls all have issues with that. I stay having to give them vitamins with Iron 😕 and sometimes that still don't bring it up much so I have to give foods that got iron in it. Try smoothies with spinach in it (put your favorite fruits in it) ****
