Has anyone else been required to do a 24 hour urine sample? I went in today for my apt (32 weeks 5 days) and the Dr said my blood pressure was up so they were going to do blood work. Well I went to the lab to have the blood work done and they handed me a jug I said what is that for? The tech said they aren't sure what she's testing for bc it tests for many different things. I asked if I could ask the doctor why I have to do this and they said she was in a meeting now. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the Dr could be looking for or if it's standard... I don't mind at all about doing it just don't understand why I am doing it lol.
Okay thank you. Just wasn't sure what to think lol. @bri61217
Yeah but other then your pressure being up they usually just do it to check creatinine levels and protein that i know of ...
That's what I was thinking for the site I looked at was they could be looking for protein. @bri61217
Well since your blood pressure was up they could be testing for protein in case of preeclampsia... but i had to do it and my blood pressure has been good so far ...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Stressing. Went to the doctor today and the said my urine test was negative. I went straight to the store after and took this one. What is going on? Has this ever happened to anyone? Waiting for blood results to come back tomorrow ?
TWW!!
