"You should have someone come over and help during the day so you can get some sleep." If I hear that one more time.... It's not that I didn't think of that, or that I'm being stubborn. It's that there is no one. My husband and I are on our own. And he's at work. So it's me. When do I get to sleep?!
@guaderrama_babies2, Oh trust me, when he is home, he helps. The problem is that the baby ISNT sleeping. Barely napping. I try to nap when he does but he naps for like 15 minutes - and that's never enough time for me to actually fall asleep.
I had help at first in the beginning but even now my husband won't help. He's more tired than me 😒 so I started co sleeping with her just to get a few hours here and there.
I know how hard this can be. I moved from home and I'm 4 hours away. I had no help and I have 2 boys. One is 1 1/2 the other 3 months. Before my little one started sleeping through the night I would get 2 hours of interrupted sleep if i was lucky. My fiance works midnights so I'm all alone all night. He would come home tired and still take the boys for a few hours so I could sleep a bit. Tell your husband to help you. Work is no excuse. If my fiance would help after being up and working all night I'm sure he can too. Take naps while baby naps. You have one baby that should be a lot easier than I had it lol after my first I would nap with him now with two their nap times are all over the place.
@mrsgraffiti he's a newborn lol that's what they do. I got 0 sleep the first month. I was exhausted. He'll start figuring out his days and nights soon. Both of my boys have slept through the night since 2 months. That's when they usually get on a schedule. I know it's hard but as mom's we got to learn to push through it and do what we have to do.
