Literally just tell them to fuck off. I wanted so badly just to have me and my so there for the delivery & several hours after. We had SO many people come up to the hospital before I was in labor, my in-laws were right outside the door while I was pushing, and then soooo many people tried to come visit. I was so overwhelmed and tired. Literally just tell them to go away. We were in the hospital for a week and when I finally got home I just stayed locked inside with my baby.

I would always wait for guests to come over I would only let grandmas n grandpa's come over but everyone else had to wait until my baby was at least 2 weeks old cause nb can pick up anything and they don't have a strong immunity system to fight off viruses that's me I always wait

Honestly I was kind of mean I let everyone know if they showed up unannounced I wouldn't let them in and only let grandparents come the first week and slowly invited a few people here and there after that because the first weeks with a baby are hard and guests can make it very hard
