So I wouldn't call it "I stayed with him because of the kids" I AM with him because I love him.

First and for most-  he's my best friend. Although we get upset with each other, things work out, we communicate and try to work on problems as a team.

Then we had a daughter and it's brought us closer because we have to work harder. Having a child consumes you. So we HAVE to set time apart for each other.
