Anyone ever use mirena? Need your opinions on it. I put in to get it but two people told me it's super painful and one had it put in and taken out within a few weeks.

I had it for 5 years nothing to bad other then really bad cramps and longgggg periods just took it out though started to get really painful during sex good luck though everyone's body is different 😊
@mandaaleexo the pros are that it last 5 years, some people don't have a period with it, when ready to conceive it doesn't take long after removing, it's very easy to place and it's a lot easier if your on your period when you get it done, the cons are that some people still complain of bleeding but nothing heavy, it can fall out or move somewhere it shouldn't while placed
@mandaaleexo everyone is different I never had one but work in ob/gyn and assist with doing them and see the pros and cons.
@mandaaleexo the one girl on here is always posting how she had alot of complications with it. @hiswifetheirmama I'd ask her tho I know that's gunna add to your list of not so good reviews.
I didn't feel anything at all when I got it placed. The most painful part was the speculum. I had cramps for 2 days and now I have a light period, but overall I'm happy with it.
