10 months in and I've never wanted to quit so bad. My baby is so clingy. She doesn't like anyone but me and I can't leave her for more than a few hours. And that never get to happen because the only person she will even stay with without screaming the whole time is my mom. She's still up all night to eat and wants to comfort nurse all day long. I'm so touched out. This momma needs a break. 😔

I am in the same boat as you my baby can only go 4 hours without me after that she won't stop crying till I get home 😔 I love her with all my heart but it does drive me crazy

Yep. Breastfeeding is a huge sacrifice sometimes 😔 of course, worth all the suffering or we wouldve quit months ago 😆 our babies are old enough to go longer stretches without milk though. If you need a break, just go for it. Baby will fuss but she'll be fine.

@kambam, it sucks. Like, I love her. And I love spending every moment with her. But sometimes I just need to recharge. It's so exhausting. Definitely the downside of breastfeeding.

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.
