help!!! so I was only able to pump twice a day because it made me cramp bad. now I'm able to pump more I tried every five hours and I didn't get much milk. I usually get 2 to 3 oz the two times I did and Whe. I did it 4 times a day to 6 I got less the 1oz. what can I do. I really want this to work.
Today was the day I was Able to submit my order for my free breast pump! 😍😍.
Random question! At what time during the day did everyone waters break? I always imagine it being at night in bed 😂😂
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
calling all mommies who are breast feeding or excessively pumping .. how did you all do it ?? I know some people pump right in the hospital day 1 !! I know my hospitals here allows you to pump from day 1 and breast feed at the same time they just give you a breast consultant to explain and show you how so you don’t mess up and get a over supply to soon . Some people only breast feed for awhile than pump 1/2 later . Some only pump period ... what’s your method and how successful are you ?? And how tough was it in the beginning ??
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.

You know how it comes out easier in the shower or bath maybe try pumping in the tub one extra time a day

When i was breastfeeding my lactation consultant told me that i needed to pump every 3 hours for AT LEAST 20 minutes. She said even if i could only do 5 or 10 minutes that it was better than not at all, but at least 20 minutes. And after 3 hours your milk just kinda start to go down and your supply goes down so you have to get it out every 3 hours. I was getting 4 oz from each side doing that.
