Breastmilk question! Is my baby getting a proper amount of sustenance from the watery foremilk? My husband thinks I need to stop giving him this donated breastmilk because there's isn't enough hindmilk in it to keep him satisfied since it's not coming from me.
I'm back home from the hospital. It was a really long and hard weekend.I had my sweet baby boy. These are some of his things they gave him. That's the little hat they put on him and the little blanket they wrapped him up in. They also gave us the bear and keepsake box for his things.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
Is there a lactation nurse on here? Does lemongrass tea increase breastmilk supply? And also what can I drink to increase my breastmilk production?
my mom is really trying to discourage me from breastfeeding. she said my breastmilk looks nasty and my son dont want my dry ass nipple.
I think I'm going to do breastfeeding and see how he attaches to me & if not I'm going to put him on breastmilk formula.

I dont think you should stop giving the breastmilk. There wouldn't really be a way to tell unless he wasnt gaining.
