Mamas who got a membrane strip, how did it feel and how long after did you go into labor?

I got one when I was 40 weeks 1 day and went into labor a few hours after. It was kinda painful to get it but wasn't too bad :)

Yea it didnt hurt me either but it was uncomfortable, an it may take hours to days to make you go in labour it depends on your body

@katrinaj843 im 40 weeks 3 days, 50% effaced, 3cm and lost my mucus plug 3 weeks ago. If all that doesn't mean my body is ready Idk what else to do.

It really wasn't that bad. To me, it was totally worth it. If you feel ready then I'd go ahead and do it :)

@andrewsmommy, the baby's surely on its way though guaranteed jus a little while longer, ppl think that membrane strip does the job immediately but sad to say to my surprise an everyone else who gets it done it doesn't happen immediately 😳 their comin moma don't worry 😉
