My son has been pooping a lot lately. For the past couple weeks he's been doing this. He does it every time he eats or drinks anything. It's not diarrhea at all. Is it normal for him to be pooping so much for a 13 month old? He also has the worst diaper rash ever. What are some things that you mamas use on diaper rash?
Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps? Or what do I do. He poops at least 2 times if not sometimes more a day. And it puts him in agonising pain. His Drs said don't worry but his Booty is always red, bleeding and hurts him.
Diaper rash picture in comments! My son has had a small little rash under his little sac for about 3 weeks now. I have been putting Desitin on it every diaper change. It feels very dry and it's hard. It has become bigger it started off like the size of a skittle now it's like the size of 2 quarters. I don't know what it is. He has an appointment on the 15th. Do any of you mommas have an idea I'm out of things to put on it.
So my son has had this horrid diaper rash heading toward a week now. The desitin has been keeping it at bay but it will not go away. I also bought some aquaphor to try. I’ve tried A&D too which works perfect preventing the rash but it won’t heal it. Nothing seems to be healing it and I just don’t know what else to do. Could he possibly be allergic to the diapers he’s using; would that cause a rash that seems to be from pooping but actually from the diaper? We have been using different brands because we got so much from the showers we had. Since this has been going on we’ve been using huggies and luvs. He’s been using huggies since he’s been home but we just started using the luvs a week or so ago. Though, if it was diaper allergy wouldn’t it be all over everything the diaper covers, not just his hiney? I just feel so bad because it looks awful and I can’t seem to make it go away 😩 Experiences/tips would be much appreciated. TIA😊

It could be from teething. My son had it bad when his molars came in. Best thing to do for diaper rash is when you're home, dont use wipes. Put him in the shower and rinse him like that. Let him run around and air dry for as long as you can before he pees. Slap on a bunch of desitin. When he poops change it asap. Also change his diapers every 2 hours
