💙 baby Liam will be here before I know it! Starting to hit me how close I am to holding him in my arms 😊nerves setting in too! Lol any first time moms feel the same way? Any advice or tips on anything for new moms would be appreciated ! 💙
@ashleywhite, thank you! I appreciate it! I worry about ppd and hope I don't go through it but I'll take things as they come. It's scary not knowing what to expect but I know things will fall into place. Thank you 😊💕
Epidurals are Gods gift to the world. For real, they're wonderful haha
Postpartum depression is VERY REAL. If you don't feel right mentally, call your doctor. I'm a very happy upbeat person so I never thought I would suffer ppd but I did. Bad. I'm thankful I got the help I needed.
Do things YOUR way and don't listen to people telling you what you should do (unless it's your doctor lol) your the momma and you know what's best for your baby.
Don't beat yourself up over a messy house or dirty dishes. Take care of your baby and yourself FIRST. And sleep whenever you can. I remember being so exhausted and cleaning my house when my baby slept because I felt guilty about the mess. I regret that. I need rest. You'll hear it from all the nurses and doctors SLEEP WHEN BABY SLEEPS. You need it.
If you can, take a few minutes a day to yourself. Shower, nap alone whatever you need to do to recharge.
Good luck momma :)

any boy moms
Plan on trying for a girl?
Any moms in Michigan? I want more mommy friends
Ditto with what @ashleywhite said. Have your family be aware of your moods. Sometimes we don't even realize if we are going through PPD. A lot of times I have seen that family will notice before yourself.
