What helps colicky babies? What can I give my daughter to help her?
White noise seems to soothe them pretty well, my daughter used to cry and scream until 5 or 7am. She falls right asleep to rain sounds now
I gave it to her right before she eats @mandaaleexo
I didn't, I just started using it since she was 4 days old. She didn't need much around 3/4 months. I very seldom use it now
@inlovewithrosiee, and do I need to ask pediatrician first or can I start using right away?
@inlovewithrosiee, what is that and what does it do?
Another good thing for gas is moving their legs and scrunching them up!
Also when she's on her belly on your arm rub her lower back in a clockwise motion !
You can just start giving it to her, it's ok for babies 2 weeks and up! It really just helps settle their tummy and get rid of some of the gas.
It's definitely really overwhelming! Especially when you can't find a way to comfort or calm them down. I get mine at target, it's I think 10 dollars for a bottle and you only give them half a teaspoon. I hope it works for you! Because it definitely helped me. Good luck!
@jsco, thank you. She was finally able to come home from the nicu so this is my second night with her. On the 16th she will be one month. She was crying for like four hours straight. So overwhelming!! Do I need to ask the pediatrician if it's ok to use gripe water or can I just start her on it ?
Try gripe water. Also when she's with you lay her on her tummy on your arm so she looks like a little koala and that'll help the gas in her belly
Gerber soothe drops is the best. We tried everything bit only them help us.
