Since I'm an expecting first time mom and many of you are pro moms let's take a vote! We just moved in to a new house and the carpet needs to be replaced in some areas. Do we wait for the baby (and future kids) to get a little older to avoid vomit and other uncontrollable bodily fluids to cease spewing on our brand new carpet or do we get it done now and enjoy spending time on the floor with our little ones? What would you do and how much do/can toddlers ruin carpet?
I'd do it now. Prepare yourself ahead of time when kiddos are sick. We don't allow our kids to eat or drink anywhere except the table. I've put a huge blanket on the floor for movie night and we've eaten popcorn on it but that's as far as it's gone. @michsept,
Id get it done now. We put new carpet in our house just for our baby and so we could be on the floor with him. Its a good idea
I would get it done now.. it'd be much nicer letting them lay or play on clean carpet and then clean it if it needs to be or keep food only in the kitchen and milk/spit up isn't going to ruin carpet
I would get it done now. Get a rug shampooer. I have 3 boys and i don't let them eat it drink anything in the living room, if anything spills, i just shampoo it. Vacuum often
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
