So my ex doesn't want to be involved or even meet out daughter. Should I message his mom and let her know I would still like for any other family members that want to be involved are more than welcome to be? Would I be crossing a line in doing so?
Maybe there is a reason why you haven't met his family being this far along in pregnancy..I understand where you are coming from tho best of luck with your situation 💕
I really want to. I have never met my father or his side of the family. I don't want my daughter to grow up with questions like I did. I've never even met my ex's family so it just makes me nervous to blindly contact them.
I would definitely NOT wait. You have no idea what lies he's feeding them. I'd reach out and just let them know that they are welcome in your little ones life. Get to them, and let them know you're nice and welcoming, so they don't have a reason not to believe you.
I agree, I would wait. If they want to be involved they'll make it clear. Enjoy your mommy daughter time and if they want to be apart of her life then they will. Just keep the door open 💜💜
I would wait if they made the effort then I would allow it if they didn't I would just let it be.
@valarie_angel i would if it were me, seems like a mature thing to do.
I would just wait and let them reach out themselves.
If you think that's best then do it if you're okay with them being part of her life then go for it

So MIL wants to "borrow" DD for a while. Would you be okay with it?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
Never In a million years did I think I would say this but... I think I want another baby 😩😩
C-section
So tomorrow I go in for my c-section I was hoping he would make an appearance beforehand so I could get the labour i wanted, but obviously I’ve made such a lovely home for him. Any tips on recovery would be much appreciated please? Xx
@valarie_angel, I agree with @jennatess. You never know what they've been told or if they think you're not interested in having a relationship. If you at least put it out there that they have the option to be in your daughter's life, the rest is on them.
