So what's everyone else's doctors like? If your baby is sick/ needs a doctors opinion do they usually get them in pretty quick? Charlie's had a cough for almost 3 weeks. Okay a cough isn't usually a big deal, but for nearly 3 weeks with a sore throat, not eating properly and interrupted sleep it's not nice for him. My doctors won't fit him in until next Thursday and I'm fuming! How can they expect a 10 month old to wait this long?! Is anyone else's doctors like this? Pic just for attention.

My doctors usually see you on the same day and if not it'll be the next day, have you tried speaking to a pharmacist they can do his prescription on the NHS xx

Really? Even for adults or just babies? See if it's for me I have to wait about two and a half weeks for an appointment.. that seems really quick. I'm not sure as I think they'll be giving him antibiotics so I'm not sure if a pharmacist can print that kind of description without a doctors signature. A couple of people have told me to wait until the doctors shit and get on to 111 as they'll get him an appointment this evening. I don't usually bother for myself but I can't see my child suffer 😩 x

I've been told I had to wait 2weeks a few times when I've called up. The one that made me laugh was when I called uo because they'd come out in a rash. A rash which could be nothing but it could be anything! I was fuming & called back & demanded an appointment. They often offer phone appointments when short & if they feel they need to be looked at they call them in. Which is how I've had to get both my boys looked at a few times. I thought babies were priority but I guess their not.

@sara-lou, it's not as bad waiting for myself, but it's out of order making a young child wait. Oh my how ridiculous, rashes are one of the worst IMO because it literally is nothing or a huge something! I agree, I thought babies were priorities but my doctors are so bad, I'm gonna change his doctors over the week. When he was newborn he stopped feeding because his mouth was so sore from thrush, my doctor refused to see him for a week and a half so I ended up taking him to a&e which I'd never normally do, but he wasn't taking any fluids or producing any wet nappies (he was only 8 days old)
