Does anybody else use a drop of juice in their baby's water to get them to drink it? She doesn't seem to like water, if you do which juice do you use please? I bought a Heinz baby fruit spring water apple flavoured, and she does drink the water with a dash in but it only lasts 4 days in fridge once opened, well she only needs a tiny amount so I need one that can last longer in fridge to keep using? Any ideas please ?

Have you tried squeezing a drop of juice out of a real piece of juice? That way you/ she could snack on the fruit so it wouldn't go to waste and she'd still be taking her fluids

@jo.wilcox, @mrsmowmow, aw thank you some great ideas there, I am going to persevere with water but it's just to get her drinking anything other than milk then I would have phased it out all together x

Obviously many parents choose to offer juice & that's fine. However I feel their very young for juice & like most things they won't necessarily take to water or drink loads straight away. I offered Max water from 4/5months & he's only now started taking more sips at nearly 8months. I would persist with water a while longer & as long as she isn't having dry nappies you know she's hydrated enough 😊👍

@sara-lou, thanks Hun, she's still having number twos but they are quite solid (sorry tmi lol) so didn't want her to struggle so am keen to get her drinking the cooled boiled water, I'll keep trying like you say, even if she's just getting little bits here and there x
