How soon should you poop after a c section?

Took me a week.

Ugh hunny I had my csection yesterday but I'm miserable today. I want to pass gas or something.

@mrsgates15, I had mine Friday! I'm still in pain and can't stand up all the way 😩

@gabriellerose I'm standing and walking but this gas uuugghhhh. I told my nurse I need something like now.

Will they give you a colase?

Take stool softener to help you go and for it not to be hard to push because it will be softer

I didn't poop for like a week lol

I didn't pass gas til like the 2nd day after

Whenever your body needs to poop... I made the mistake of refusing the stool softener and ended up in the er. Take it! It does wonders

@kellyt23, I've been taking them so far they're doing nothing 😔

You'll be thankful once you do poop! That's the best thing for you

@mrsgates15 get on all fours and slowly rock and wiggle your butt... it will help release the trapped gas... i seriously was screaming i thought i was going to die after my last... then i did that every 30 minutes and let it loose lol
