anyone else's kid like this ???? my 7 week old daughter cannot be sat down. she has to be held 24/7 or she'll scream bloody murder until you get her. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will comfort her, no swing, bouncer, sound machine, colic drops you name it we tried. nothing except someone holding her. it's so depressing I haven't cleaned in weeks an i never sleep. I feel like I'm alone...

@aliakr, you are definitely not alone... My little guy refuses to sleep anywhere but in my arms or on my chest and is never content with anyone else for much longer than 15 minutes at a time. I am hardly ever able to eat, potty, or even shower, and it's exhausting!

I did get her checked apparently she's perfectly healthy lol. An yes she's mostly like this with me. but she does get this way with my mom too. an i breast feed an formula feed since she is allergic to dairy . I can't give her breast milk if I eat dairy @dreeex
thank you ! I'm actually gonna try that I never thought of that before. an yep my baby slept on her stomach from 3 weeks old..she won't sleep any other way . I bought a video monitor to watch her, an her crib is in my room. an she moves her head perfectly fine so I know she's okay. @nomaci I was so scared when I first put her on her belly but now she's fine
I did take her to the pediatrician like 5 times already ..nothing is wrong apparently... she has acid reflux an a milk allergy so we've taken care of that. guess she's just one of those who needs to be held 24/7 @andrewsmommy
Have you ladies tried wearing the baby to be able to still do some things around the house? My sister n law had the moby wrap and would wear my niece to do dishes, laundry, sweeping... Nothing was wrong with her by the way, she was just one of those babies that liked to be with someone.
I would get ur baby checked if nothing is soothing her and If she cries that much, do u breastfeed ? Is she only like that with you or others ?
It must be the motion with the hold or something. My fiancé's parents would put him in his carseat and plop it on the running washer or dryer, I don't remember which. He would knock out.
I remember a woman who's baby would not lay on her back at all. She had to be on her stomach almost from birth....which scares me but may sometimes be necessary.
Maybe somethings hurting her? Her little leg or something. Or her back.

the wrap keeps her calm for a little while but then she gets mad an wants to be held again @nomaci
Omg that's exactly my life... it's sooo depressing! I even have to pull off the side of the road when driving because she screams so much she chokes an makes herself turn purple... it's so scary . @morganmommy79
Me!! I post about it a lot. I haven't cleaned house, put on makeup or eaten a real dinner since her birth other than when my mom helps. It's crazy just trying to shower. I've swaddled, bathed, played music, vibrated the chair, a swing, bouncy seat, cradle, car seat, ingenuity lounger, pack n play, inreach lounger...NOTHING works. I've tried gripe water when she's gassy, pumping into a bottle, I change her often, sing to her, tried white noise and nothing. Not a thing. And I have to return to work soon. White noise did settle her in the car seat a couple times like a charm but not every time.
Is there a certain way you guys hold her differently from her laying in the swing?
I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

Today, we are deeply saddened by the news that @Martinajjones' baby, Jason Andrew Colley, was born early and passed away. He was born today, on his father's birthday, at 34 weeks, weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces and 17 inches long. @Martinajjones has been a strong member of this community since January. We are so sad for her loss, and her family's, and our thoughts go out to her.
