Breastfeeding mommas- how much milk are you producing when you pump? I feel like I'm struggling to keep my baby's belly full 😓
@amyamersonn, wow , luckily I have an office job and they have posted they just let me take time out for pumping at least 15 mins 2x a day. I'm sure once I get in the swing of things it won't be so manual rather than routine ... it is law they are required to allow you the time to relive milk in a place other than bathroom that's clean
I feel ya! I go back Thursday, I'm so nervous because I'm a server so I don't really get breaks. I would just have to get someone to watch my section or miss out on a few tables. But I bought a pump adaptor for my car so I can pump to and from ( hour drive, so I can power pump)
@amyamersonn, amen I seriously teared up last night as I made a formula bottle ( didn't use it ) but was very close to deciding to switch .. breastfeeding takes dedication and patience and I go back to work in a week so I'm overthinking my
Ability . But it's worth it. We got this ! :D
@realbluntbrunette, yeah he has normal wet diapers too, we just gotta get out of our own heads lol
@amyamersonn, I know I feel the same plus apparently they are full with just an ounce or two I the beginning.. I just want to make sure she is getting the nourishment she needs but she has normal wet diapers so it's just my anxiety .. you got this !
@realbluntbrunette, gotcha yeah I think I just have to pump more in between feedings. I started power pumping after night feedings because that's when your body produces more milk. I think I'll just always have self doubt because it's impossible to know exactly how much your baby is getting
My daughters 2 weeks old and after a good pump I'm getting 2oz now I'm doing pumping after feeding to generate more then usual to stock up for back to work .
@morganmommy79, thanks for your response! That's about where I was when he was 1 month, now I pump about 2 oz after nursing him. I just see pics posted of moms pumping like 12 oz at a time and I'm like should I be doing that too? It's so frustrating
Mine is different depending on time of pumping. If I feed the baby then pump I only get 1/2-1 ounce of milk. If I feed her on just one side and let the other go then pump it later I get 2 ounces from the full one. I wish I were getting a gallon lol but hopefully it will pick up soon
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@realbluntbrunette, yeah, I'm sure I can go in a storage room or something, but because I make like $2.23 hourly and depend on my tips, I don't want to be away from my customers too much, or skip getting seated. Sucks.. but I guess I'll figure it out. I only work a few days a week, so hopefully it won't horribly impact my pumping schedule/supply
