I'm my whole nine months of parenting I have not had a bad like today normally my little guy is happy and will play by himself. Not today if I put him down for 5 seconds he cried if I walked into the other room he screamed if I tried to lay him down for a nap he acted like someone was hurting him the only time he was calm all day was when we took a bath I have no idea what is wrong with him but I don't like it. Do you mommy's have suggestions as to what could be wrong

It's probably separation anxiety. Not much you can do about that except reassure him you'll be back soon, that you're not leaving him, etc.
@dreamermom what wasn't normal was even when I was sitting on the floor playing with him he still wasn't happy he wanted to be on my left hip and me moving
@jlspoores, awe so the poor guy is probably just really missing his mommy snuggles!
It could be @dreamermom the only other time he was like this he was about 6 months old and I was working so he hardly got any mommy time and the last couple days I haven't held him as much because his daddy and I have been sick

@dreamermom I tried everything to get him to calm down, tylenol, ice for is teeth rubbing his gums, rubbing his belly,feeding him thinking he might be hungry, none of it worked the only thing that worked was holding him it was almost as if he was scared I was going to run away
I hope it's just a stage and he isn't getting sick he sounded congested yesterday but sounds fine today @nomaci
That's how my daughter is... she's so chill normally, when she gets like that, then I know something is wrong, either she was teething... or she was having tummy troubles, the next day her diapers would indicate the problem... but usually it was teething! Trust your gut... if it's unusual behavior there is probably a reason for it!
He may have just figured out object permanence? Some days my boy does that, no rhyme or reason, but I think it'd that he's finally realized I still exist when I'm not holding him or next to him, and misses me, and knows what it mean when he's put down.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
