Not sure how to explain this but someone answer if you can..
I had an ultrasound last week. Through the ultrasound they checked my cervix and I'm about 2cm.. Today I'm sure my Dr will check again with her hand. Say I'm 4cm all of a sudden.. Will she have me admitted? I haven't had any braxton hicks, haven't lost my plug or anything but she did say I might have baby quicker than my son. I've been trying to walk so now sure if I'm dilating.

If your water hasn't broken yet and they themselves didn't let you stay in the hospital then you're safe for now. If you're at 8cm and your water didn't break then they will have to break it for you. It does sound like you're gonna have her sooner than you hoped lol I had mine around 35 weeks and she was as healthy as can be. But just keep an eye on your self

@raquely how many cm were you? My water didn't break with my son but my contractions were every 5-3 minutes and I was 5cm

@jaderbug i had my son at 39 weeks. Water never broke but I was in full blown labor at 5cm. They admitted me right there and then. Im hoping she comes soon I'm done being pregnant

@andrewsmommy if you are not having consistent contractions then they wont admit you... they wanted to send me home with my last because I wasnt having consistent contractions but i demanded they keep me and i wasnt leaving the hospital because my water had broken at 36 weeks and there was a whole lot of blood

@xomommahicksxo @raquely yeah with my 1st they sent me home because I was a 3. Within 20 minutes I went back and I was already 5cm. Then they admitted me

But because this is baby #2 and I'm due in about 2 weeks idk how fast she will come lol i haven't had 1 contraction oe braxton hick contraction. Im having some light cramping under my belly but not sure if its a contraction

Even if you have progressed I feel like you shouldn't go in until your contractions kick in and even then until they are close. That way you spend time with other baby and your more comfortable at home than in the hospital anyways. I went in at 9cm and still had my daughter 6 hours later lol
