I think wic only has counselors and refers out. Not 100%

10mins is a good amount but when mine was little he'd latch for 20mins or more.

Wic has consultants. The first 6 weeks I pumped because it hurt so bad to breastfeed. I bought myself some nipple butter and latched baby on again. It does get easier. If baby latches on correctly you shouldn't have pain. Get in contact with a consultant to help with feedings. 😊

@kambam, I give him more than 10 minutes but sometimes I have to take him off because it hurts too much.

Oatmeal helps with production, water is a must and latching baby on as much as possible. My mother in law gave me chocolate abuelita with ruda. My milk flow was great.

Do you guys have a bad latch? I breastfed with a bad latch for a while. It sucked and I was miserable.

Have you tried YouTube?? It can be helpful until you get further help. Look for deep latch techniques or signs of bad latch etc. I had to learn myself because all the consultants I saw werent helpful
