Did your pedi tell you to give them? If not they don't really need them until 6m-1yr. It's just for fun/learning until then. You can serve a tiny amount after formula in the morning to let her play and taste

He said I can start 4/12-5 months if she seems ready and this last week she's been super into my food and I was playing with a spoon and her lower lip and she kept opening her mouth wanting it. She LOVED her peas I just don't know how often to give them to her. That's the one question I forgot to ask 🙈 I know you have to keep giving the same food for a week so they can get used to it and to make sure they're not allergic

I started my son (6 months) with once a day, then twice, and finally moving towards three times a day (: different foods every time and he loves it

@garayserenity, when did you transition to twice then three times?

Well, it was perhaps 2 days each stage (2 days just once a day, 2 days just twice a day, and then increased to three times a day and that's where we're at. It was honestly very quick but I guess my son's in his own groove with this. No doctor approval/advice, no restrictive caution. I've just let him lead the way and tell me what he wants. I let him try all the veggies first, and now we're starting with some meats and fruits too. I never really spaced out when he tried new ones either, thankfully he's not a picky/sensitive baby!
