Has anyone ever lied to get an ultrasound? I am 16 weeks and I haven't seen my baby since I was 10 weeks. My next appointment isn't until I'm 20 weeks. Since my last pregnancy ended in stillbirth, I'm extra paranoid. I'm thinking about making a trip to the emergency room...

My hospital showed me the baby every time I had to go in @raquely,
I lied and said I couldn't feel her moving a lot knowing I had an anterior placenta 🙄
I heard the heartbeat and got an ultrasound butt no pic :(
Lol yupp i said id bumped my stomach in the middle of night and the pain has gotten worse...then i picked an area to pretend to hurt and said "ow" every time the doc ran his fingers over it 😔
I'd suggest getting a Doppler. They're not very expensive and I use mine about every week and a half. If u do get it, don't use it like everyday because the sound waves can hurt the baby. But it definitely helps to calm anxiety.
^yeah they didn't even let me hear the heart beat. I tried to do this too. 💔 Try getting a Doppler or application where you can hear it. Read the reviews.
I know some ER will not show the mother the ultrasound screen and will not print out pictures to avoid people lying just to get an extra ultrasound. So just don't be disappointed if you don't get to see anything.
@britbrat94 i wont lie, my last i did... i had horrible anxiety with him and constantly thought i was carrying around a dead baby so i went in twice
