@leahsmommi, guess not :/ term is a great thing to be happy about.. I'll be Happy too.. even celebrated 14 weeks because risk of MC goes goes down and celebrated 24weeks weeks because baby is considered viable.. im not against that at all but it is what it is she took it how she took it

@leahsmommi, haha yeah myself included 😂 guess I'm just interested in these things because I've lost five babies and I do anything research and learn everything I can to be sure my babies are as safe as I can.. when someone gives me a saftey tip I take it and look into it guess not all moms are like that

@twinmommabellahali, was trying to share some info about the new full term updates and some lady got offended and blocked me.. wasn't rude about it and since she seemed to be taking it so well I kept making convo about my own experience.. turns out she was getting upset and I didn't realize 😂👎 never said anything bashing or to offend her. Told her to look it up because I found it interesting as my own OB told me that full term was 37w and it's not anymore.. also explained I had a 37weeker because of induction.. i might even be induced earlier this time due to heath reasons..she decided to take it as I was bashing her opinion.. you can have an opinion but didn't change scientific fact

What happened?

Sharing this type of info can save a babies life.. some moms think it's okay to try and bring on labor at 37weeks because they are uncomfy and baby is "full term" when in reality it's not

@alimtz0510, and I kindly tried to explain I wasn't trying to offend her I was just sharing my experience and info.. if you read my comments I never said anything offensive. She took it that.. listen to your doctor that's fine still doesn't change the truth..

@alimtz0510, never did o ever say oh your ignorant or did I get rude just explained I wish I knew and would have attempted to keep my baby in longer and never did o say all babies born at that gestation would have issues just said mine happened to and I wish I could have kept him in longer. Saying oh a lot of babies have been born early and are fine doesn't change the fact that info has been updated.. moms used to take baby home from the hospital in a basket sure many survived but the info and safety regulations changed for a reason.. it's new updated life saving info.. it's interesting

Yeah I understand but she didn't want to know what you had to say. She's going by what her doctor tells her as well as her previous deliveries. I'd do the same. I'd be listening to my doctor.

@alimtz0510, lol the thing is o was just sharing new info I found interesting even went on to explain i had a baby at 37w and considered him full term then too but after research and learning new facts o was surprised at all the new info and explained o wish I would have known that back then never did I say oh your are an idiot just said some doctors aren't up to date yet on the new info.. thought I'd share what I have learned in my last last few pregnancies.. as it's interesting..

And not all baby's have issues at 37 weeks. Some are just more complicated than others. Just because your baby was having issues doesn't mean everyone who delivers at 37 weeks will.

She hasn't even had her baby yet and you're already telling her she's wrong. She told you she was sticking to what she was told by her OB and that's it. You don't need to shove "facts" down her throat if she clearly didn't want it.

@leahsmommi, 37-38+6 is now considered early term.. and 39-40 is full term

@leahsmommi, yea some doctors aren't updated on the info they still say 37 is full term.. it takes time for OB and hospitals to update the info.. just like anything.. when I had my son they all said he was full term but when he was born he was clearly having trouble like a premature baby

@mi.mommy, it's not even my opinion though lol that's the thing it actually was changed just how they update textbooks or anything the info was updated due to research they learned babies do so much more developing until weeks 39/40 ACOG updated it even the march of dimes.. lol so i was just passing along good new info..

@leahsmommi, if I dare to correct my hubby - he will find something to defend himself 😂 corrected him on pace feeding - worse thing ever - for a whole day I needed to hear that it is a stupid method and isn't even a solid one bc it hasn't been out for long 🤔I dragged him to the breastfeeding support group and he talked to the LLL and now it is like never happened 😅

@leahsmommi, lol i wasn't even trying to correct this lady I was just passing on updated info she was saying she's full term I said congrats then mentioned how full term isn't 37weeks anymore it's 39.. and a lot of OBs have outdated info.. lol she tried to say her OB wasn't giving her outdated info and 37weeks is full term to her 😂 like just because you believe something didn't make it accurate and i wasn't judging just sharing new info. It's scientific fact and changed for the safety of our babies 😂 pretty sure I got blocked
