Is it wrong to throw my own baby shower? 🤔 I don't have a lot of family where I live and I'm a control freak lol so me and my husband are throwing my own baby shower in May 😃👌🏻 any thoughts?

Hubby and I planned my baby shower/gender reveal. The day of the shower the God parents did the rest. I had a vision for my shower so I had to execute it myself 😁.... @nessairieray

A friend is having an all womens baby shower and her fiance is having a diaper shower with the guys. I think its awesome.

@nessairieray I understand. I just don't make a big deal out of it anymore because I got birthday parties to plan . I'm not saying that it's wrong to throw your own shower

@nessairieray but it ended up being a waste of food and time because not alot of people showed up . I was better off just buying my baby his own stuff

@nessairieray honestly I have no idea because I told My mom I'm not asking for one because I don't throw showers for myself. But I did ask for a gender reveal that's it

I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

I really thought I was getting a baby shower and like no one has even thought about giving me one. This is my first baby i mean no one has to do anything for me I just at least thought they had plans for me and they don’t. They gave my uncle one because his wife didn’t want one because she already had a kid.And everyone got a baby shower and was giving one .But I guess it’s okay. I’ll do my own baby shower with my next child I just thought family planned a baby shower for you . Lol guess I thought wrong.
Welp if it makes y’all feel better , I was hoping my own baby didn’t come out ugly because my baby daddy be looking ugly to me sometimes .
