To say that I'm frustrated is an understatement. A month ago I was let go from my job at Academy Sports. My son has been sick with RSV, along with some other illnesses. I had to take off a number of days to keep Will at home. It's just me..my sons father is in prison. So I was let go due to absences. Unemployment denied my claim because, apparently, having to take days off to take care of your sick child is considered misconduct....really?!?i am sickened by all of this. I'm just trying to get through the day...I'm not asking for a lot.
