Help!!
I am currently pumping as muchh as I can get out but it still seems every little every time almost not enough for a meal for my baby I would love to keep breast feeding she barley latches with me since we left the hospital she is now a week old but I don't know I'm giving her all the milk I can plus like one bottle of formula wen she is extra hungry is that bad what could I do any suggestions?
Don't get discouraged! Breastfeeding is very challenging, yet very rewarding! There are a lot of methods to increase your supply. First and foremost, make sure you're drinking a TON of water. Try power pumping (pump for 20 mins, 10 mins off, 10 mins back on, 10 mins off, 10 mins on again). It simulates cluster feeding and will stimulate multiple let downs. Try pumping every 2-3 hours round the clock. There are also supplements you can try. Fenugreek helps some women (but be careful, it can make both you and baby gassy), there's also Mothers Milk tea you can get at most stores (it's like $5 at walmart), "Let There Be Milk" is a supplement you can get on Amazon that has great results, and I've also tried supplements from Legendairy Milk (search the name on Etsy). Breast milk is a supply and demand sort of thing, so the more often you empty your breasts, the more often they will fill. Hope this helps! Good luck!
I had that same problem.. an even now at 6 weeks I still have that problem :/ I can only pump half an oz total ... and 4 oz a day. I found that hand expressing gets the more than pumping does @proudmommyof2..
Thank you so much. How long does it take milk to come in I'm past the yellow stuff now it's white
Breastfeeding can be extremely stressful.... But your milk might still be coming in..... Personally drinking fluids is my number 1 booster.... Skin to skin is amazing to bring milk in and help baby latch, putting baby up to breast even if she doesn't latch is better than pumping. I can pump ½ an ounce, turn around and feed a baby. Baby is better than pump tho. I hope you are able to stick with it mama in sure you will get lots of feedback on here, if you need to a LC can be extremely helpful. @proudmommyof2..

TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
getting baby to breast is key! if she's having trouble latching, try a nipple shield. baby is waayyyyy more efficient than any pump! good luck mama!
