my 3 week old has been eating a ridiculous amount. This cannot be normal. He is now eating 4 oz every 3/4 hours sometimes even 2 hrs. right now he went 3/4 hours without a feeding and then at 6 oz! that can't be normal. right?

I let my son eat as much as he wanted my son hated pacifiers too I asked the doctor about it and she said the worse that will happen is he will spit up which happened a few times and then I knew he was done. She told me to feed the baby not control when he can eat or not eat and or how much. I guess it's my Mexican ways too 🤣
Not the doctor brown ones and if they do get gas just burp them
My daughter liked pacifing on the bottle and not the pacifier
Maybe he just wants to suck on the bottle give him a pacifier
@yeseniadelgadoo147 lol! that's what's weird is my son makes a really funny face or spits up when he's full. He definitely doesn't eat more than 4 oz every day, but the last 3 days he has one a day. But when I don't give him more he screams and screams.
I know that my super Mexican mom use to tell me to just let them eat as much as they want the sleep better when there full if ur baby isn't spitting up it's ok
He is cluster feeding completely normal are u breastfeeding?
@sarahbelle I use the Dr Brown's bottles, using it as a pacifier can still give gas, and bad gas at that. Sucking on any empty bottle will give gas. It doesn't cut giving them gas, it reduces it.
