My MIL watched Henry all day yesterday, from about 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. because she really wanted to. I gave him a bottle of milk before she picked him up and told her that he'd need one in the late afternoon and then one closer to bedtime and she said okay. When I picked him up, I was thinking that she might not have given him his night time bottle yet, so I asked her if he had milk yet and she said: "No, he's just had juice today."
Like...... what???
Milk is NOT optional for a 14 month old!!!! I'm freaking out! Should I give him more than usual in the next couple of days to make up for it??

What kind of milk is he on? Our pedi told us to do milk in the morning and at night but she is on whole milk

He'll be okay. My boyfriends mom gave our 11 month old juice from a Capri sun and I almost freaked but it wasn't worth the fight. I just told her he got a really bad stomach ache from it and not to do it again and she hasn't.

I don't mind him having juice @scc2413, he's been constipated so he needs it. However, it absolutely CANNOT replace milk. I'm freaking out!

@keepingupwithhj I know what you mean. He'll be okay though. If this was a daily thing, that'd be an issue but one day isn't going to do anything besides maybe make him constipated depending on what kind of juice it was. Did you talk to her about it?
