I honestly don't think my son is progressing how he should at his age (mental wise). it makes me feel like a shitty mom for thinking that. but I'm scared somethings wrong because he seems slower then other babies his age. I'm not sure what to do.
@andrewsmommy he does it every now and then it just seems like the only noises he makes is when he crys and a bit cooing
My son didn't reach for people until 8-9 months. Babies that are with their moms all day take a while to start interacting with others because their moms or dads are who they only know. When my son was also 9 months thats when he had no problem with having other people pick him up. He use to scream his brains out. The cooing im not sure. Did he ever coo when he was smaller?
@andrewsmommy like reaching for people, cooing and stuff, he does it a little bit but not much, just interacting with people and stuff. it's hard to explain.
Please dont stay fully sleep through the night because not all babies start at 6 months like everyone says lol. Mines didn't start until 1 year.
Well what things doesn't he do that you think hes behind?
@andrewsmommy I just feel like doesn't do the things an almost 7 month old should do. and he still seems like a small baby. instead of a baby that's gonna be one in a matter of a few months
What things are you concered about? Every baby learns at their own pace..
Go for it @6215teenmom I tried to encouragement my sister for a while and she finally did it. I probably call my son's doctor about the silliest things but idc lol
@babyjacksonmommy I think at his next appt I'm going to talk to his doctor
It's always okay to ask questions and even asked for testing It's better to catch things early if you do feel like his development is behind my sister end up getting test done for my nephew and it came back he did have mild issues you never know though your son could just being doing things at his own past showing you what he wants
You can ask his Pediatrician to do an evaluation on him and ask for feedback
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
I think this will be my LAST baby. My boyfriend is up there in age 🤷🏽♀️
If on the weekend ur unborn child's father get his son from his bm and barely answers his phone and don't text....what would u think? Do u think he's spending time with the bm as well or he just wants to spend time with His son without being bothered?
I thought the same thing with my daughter when she was turning 2 her pediatrician got a referral for her to get evaluate turns out she had severe speech delay and bad motor gross skills and had sever apraxia now she has to take speech PT and ot but if you feel like that Hun talk to his pediatrician and maybe they can set something up with you and to help you out , it good to get them evaluate cause you never know@6215teenmom
