RANT: My mom is completely out of touch I really don't want her watching my son because she gets so involved with herself and what she wants to do she gets lazy. I don't want my son going hungry or ending up with a rash because she's "in the middle of something" even when we're on the phone she can hear my son crying in the background and she just continues on talking about herself and I have to tel her repeatedly I need to get off the phone and she asks "why?". Uh because my son getting the care he needs is more important than your roommate getting friend zoned. She wants him for a weekend and I'm just afraid she's going to put him on a high surface and he's going to gal because she's not paying attention to him. What do I do? She keeps asking, even offering to pay for me and my SO to have a weekend away. She treats my son like a novelty to show off then she goes back to doing whatever she wants after shes done parading him around.
