I get it about once a month, but once I feel it coming on, I get my baby to unclog it. I figured that if I point the baby's chin towards the clog and let him suck, he gets it out super quickly. Have to be creative with poses though.
@mominmontana, I seem to have only had it a few hours but I've also had engorged boobs for three days
When I quit breastfeeding with my last one I got it. I tried to unclog it myself for a couple days but ended up having to go to the hospital and be put on antibiotics.
I took a hot shower and just massaged my boob until milk started to come out. If had already stopped breastfeeding when I got it around 4 weeks after labor so I just got rid of it in the shower. Depending on how bad it is though your dr might make you take antibiotics. You should make an appointment
