Part 7🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
They say there are no atheists in foxholes. I never really knew what they meant until this point. I've never been an atheist, but I've never FULLY submitted to God. It's always been my belief that submission, of any kind, is a sign of weakness. And Brook Aline Williams may be many things..one thing she isn't...is weak. But it was there, standing in the middle of the room, a roll of toilet paper, a bar of soap, tube of toothpaste, toothbrush, one white sheet and one green blanket in one hand..in my other hand, the information packet that they were required to give out to all new inmates. It was standing there, in the middle of the room, looking into the faces of 41 other females, hearing the slam of that gate behind me that it finally registered where I was. It didn't matter that I didn't do it. It didn't matter that it was supposed to be Gary behind those walls. It only mattered that I was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, and that I was gonna have to sit there until this was resolved..
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...
You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
