FTM here🙋 and I'm currently 8 months pregnant with a precious baby boy. As my delivery date gets closer I've been getting more and more nervous/scared. I'm super excited to meet my little one, but can any other mommies give me advice/ or tell me what to expect as far as labor and after labor. How long will it take for me to heal if I do a vaginal birth? I've heard so many horror stories it's honestly making me nervous. On a scale of 1-10 how bad would you say your labor was and your healing process? My pregnancy has been pretty easy this far. I haven't had any back or body pains. How long was your labor with your first baby and do you have any tips on how to make the labor go by more comfortably? T.I.A

mg first...i was in labor for 10 hours. not bad for the first baby. the contractions were horribleeeee so I opted for an epidural so the pain stopped there & recovery wasn't too bad just had to wait til I got feeling back. i did have a sore back however from the needle afterwards for a lil while. this birth I am not having an epidural and I heard the recovery is faster without it. good luck mama u got this 😊

I didn't tear or rip when I had my baby either so I didn't need stitches or anything thank goodness

Did you spend the full 10 hours in the hospital or did you try to spend as much time as you could at home? The only pain I've felt with my little one is being kicked in the ribs by him lol. Would you say the contractions are worse than that? Do you ever get back pain now because of having the epidural before?

my pregnancy was fairly easy no morning sickness... the labor hurt and it hurt bad... I got an epidural and it turned into the most amazing experience ever. 18 1/2 hours of labor. the recovery was the worst, got 2nd degree tearing (which isn't the worst part) I also got a hematoma which was the most painful shit EVER! thankful I have an amazing husband who helped me a lot. 2 weeks of healing was I was better. a lot of sitz baths... or whatever they are called.

3 pushed and my baby was out... lol I quit hitting the epidural button around 4pm so by time I had to push at 7 i felt all the pressure, I felt her crowning and wow what a feeling... it didn't hurt bc the epidural but it was wearing off.. it was great

labor was the best part of my pregnancy 😂 if you want a comfy labor get the epidural. I slept through labor and the nurses woke me up to push. 15 minutes later my baby's born😘
