Your doctor prescribed butalb while you were pregnant? I was told to stop taking mine..the only thing I can recommend is an ice pack and a dark room..

If you are pregnant there is literally nothing you can do. I e suffered from migraines for years and when I was pregnant it was the worse! Just lay down in a dark, silent room. I strongly recommend getting a salt rock lamp for your bedroom. It's amazing and even though my migraines are still horrible(not pregnant so I take lots of stuff) it is suppose to help!

I have a toddler so there's no chance of a dark silent room... but yeah. he knew i was pregmant. it was at one of my prenatal appointments. I explained that I've always had migraines, but doctors never figured out why. ibuprofen, excedrin, something else, never worked when they diagnosed the migraines. Tylenol kinda worked, but it stopped working.. so he prescribed ibuprofen, Butlab, and sumatriptan. if one doesn't work, try the other.. but sumatriptan makes me too sleepy afterwards, even for the next couple of days after.. ibuprofen never worked so Butlab is the most affective rn.. but I can only take it AT MOST twice a day.

Well. If you're open to it apparently there's a piercing that has been shown to help people who suffer with migraines. I think it hits a pressure point or something.

@chaaaachix yea it's called a daith piercing. I have a mom died who had hers pierced and she swears by it

@gigi10795 yes. thank you for this. (: I was always curious about that piercing as well as the top of the ear one. never knew about the migraine part.
