@mommy.ortiz4, no weight gain because it's literally just a copper "device" idk what to call it besides IUD hahaha that they put in and you have no side effects. It's just something there to block the sperm to fertilize the egg so you won't get pregnant. I thought the insertion was going to be a lot worse than it was it was a small pinch and I cramped for one hour after ( I also had my period ) then it was done. I just feel like a whole new person. My sex drive has increased and my mood is great now that I don't have those stupid hormones in me. I think what I love most about it is I don't have to worry about anything lol like it's there boom I'm done

I had tried the nuvaring also. No its not like a condom lmao it looks like a glow in the dark bracelet. Yes you stick it up there yourself. It didn't work for me because my pelvis is small so it kept falling out. And it can fall out during sex.

I was on nuvaring for 7 years but I did left it in for 3 weeks took it out got my period then put it back in the next week. I just got ParaGard IUD a little over a week ago and I feel absolutely amazing. I love not having hormones in me and it's good for up to 10 years but get it removed once you want to try to have kids. I refuse to get anything with hormones anymore after this

No. Every week you change it. Depending what day you start it you would put a new one on that same day but every new week. At the end of the month you take it off and expect your period then. I never gained weight or got pregnant on it. I was on it for 3 years before I took it off to conceive

Oh yes I was on it for 3 years it works great! It's just uncomfortable because you have to put it in and take it out yourself but once it's inside you don't feel a thing @mommy.ortiz4,
