My step daughter has really bad eczema I have tried everything. The only thing that seems to work is the oatmeal bathes and the lotions

@ablaub the Eucerin lotion I use has oatmeal as well. It has helped a lot. His skin is not flaky anymore.

@ablaub for the oatmeal bath do you use the whole packet in the baby tub orr is it for the big tub?

I use Renew on my girls. It really helps. I also use Melaleuca laundry detergent the free and clear version. Has really helped out a lot.

My husband uses aquafor for his eczema. Also do you wash your stuff in free and clear as well? @guaderrama_babies2

I use I whole package in a big bath you can use half in a baby bath. I use it every other night

@athomas yes I do I use the same lotion as him and no perfume

@ablaub he's only 6 weeks how often should I shower him with it. I do every 3 days right now

I would do it every other day right before bed

@ablaub even that young? He also has cradle cap thars why I don't shower him often

@guaderrama_babies2, the Aveeno oatmeal bath is amazing!! My son's eczema was so bad his face was swollen and he looked like a tomato. 2 weeks later and it's gone. He gets a bath every 2 days. I also use the Aveeno eczema lotion 2x a day on his whole body. I use the same lotion for myself. The oatmeal bath will also help his cradle cap. Just don't use shampoo after it.

@guaderrama_babies2, You can also ask your pediatrician if you can use cortisone on him yet. That helped immensely
