I'm slightly worried...I just started feeling baby move end of last week. Today around 1pm I called out one of my co workers she yelled back at me called me a name and I was red hot. I was shaking I was so pissed. I left my area and went to the bathroom trying to calm myself down I started to hyperventilate and then started crying. I calmed down and went back to working. Since the incident I think I've felt little light movements 3 times. I've tried eating sweets, something cold to drink, music, poking my belly and nothing... I'm starting to worry that by me hyperventilating I hurt the baby...is that possible. I know I'm probably overreacting but this is our rainbow baby and everything makes me worried that I may loose this one too. Thank you for any and all advice/help!!

I was told when babies have growth spurs they don't move as often . I was afraid like 2 days ago when my baby didn't move for the whole day .. i was scared but then . The next day she could not keep still .. lolll

@princessniquee, I'm unsure when they go through growth spurts, like what weeks they generally take place during..I'm glad you had movement the next day I'm hoping I will tmrw...it really is nerve wrecking when you have no idea or a way of knowing if baby is healthy and are ok and doing good.

Generally they tell you to not worry about the babies movements until 28ish weeks because they're still going to be irregular and not very strong

If you're really concerned you can go to the dr and they'll monitor you for a little bit. But 28 weeks is when you start kick counts. As long as you aren't bleeding or cramping really bad you should be ok :)

I have several severe emotional breakdowns similar to what you're describing (sometimes even more intense) and I too worried about the effects it would have on my baby. I asked my doctor about it because I would get so worked up. He said it would not affect the baby at all, that pregnant women had gone through severe stress such as the loss of loved one, and babies are perfectly fine. Stress hormone does not pass through the placenta. Hope that helps. I know it helped ease my mind a lot. 🙂
