Foremilk and hind milk are a real deal. I just pumped 9 oz in 2 bags from the same side and it looks so cool. This is why I single side feed and why I don't demand feed. Demand feeding is often just snacking = just foremilk.

Read the books on becoming babywise and Tracy hogg's the secrets of the baby whisperer book it has helped me out tons. Your little one can go 3 hours inbetween feeds try a eat activity sleep cycle so for example feed her at 8 am then burp her change her, play with her etc until she starts fussing again and instead of feeding her again lay her down for a nap. And feed her after she has had a decent nap
I feed her throughout the day maybe 2 hours and about 2 times over night. I pretty much ofter my breast when she wants it.
Foremilk is important to give regularly too it helps hydrate your little one.
she never eats that long. I think i have a very quick letdown.
so let's say if I pump a few ounces and than breastfeed, that's a better chance of her getting the hind milk?
@dawnrose they gulp the fore milk faster and easier. They have to work harder for the hind milk. It usually takes about 20 - 40 minutes to feed on one side so that they have sufficient time to feed on hind milk
how do u know the difference... or how u give them more the hind?
@dawnrose fore milk is the more lactose heavy part of breast milk, hind milk is the more fatty milk the really helps your baby grow and gain needed weight
Yes! that's why I don't recommend fenugreek anymore. Just increases foremilk if anything.

I am a HUGE breastfeeding advocate. No, I will NOT shame you if you decide to formula feed, and will not tolerate anyone else doing so on my post. Everyone has their own reasons on why they feed their child the way they see fit.
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
??♀️ why?! Just why?
Not saying I don't breast feed but I mainly do it on demand pretty much when I feel my milk filling back up.... ok?
